Greening Our Festival

With the goal of a zero waste event, Charlotte Clean and Green strives to divert as much waste as possible from the landfill. By using a comprehensive resource recovery plan, we will reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink, offset and compost to minimize the festival’s footprint.

e-Recycling at the Festival

In partnership with Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, Charlotte Clean and Green will offer an e-Recycling collection program at the 2012 event. This program provides a convenient place for people to drop off unwanted electronics, preventing tons of waste from ending up in our landfills.
